Occasional, part-time and full-time sitters are available 7 days a week.
OVERNIGHT
We provide sitters overnight for your 24-hour babysitting needs.
HOTEL
Our babysitters will come to the hotel or resort where you are staying.
GROUP
We provide group childcare during corporate functions, weddings, parties, reunions and other special events.

*Minimum - All babysitting services have a 3-hour minimum.
*Sitter Fee - This fee must be paid directly to the babysitter in cash, check or Venmo at time of service.
*Agency Fee - This fee will be charged to the credit card (MasterCard or Visa) on file after the job is complete.
Nanny placements
Full-time and part-time nannies are available based on an hourly sitter rate plus a one-time placement fee. Please submit an inquiry for more information and our fee schedule.

cancellation
Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to avoid a $75.00 cancellation fee.
shared care
When 2+ families share one babysitter, each family is required to pay the agency fee.
Last-minute
An additional $11.00 will be applied for last-minute requests made within 6-hours of the job start time.
Holidays
An additional $11.00 will be applied on the following holidays: Easter, Memorial Day weekend, July 1-4, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
Frequently Asked Questions
how far in advance do i need to book?
The more notice you give, the better! However, we do our best to accommodate any requests made on short notice.
is there a minimum number of hours?
There is a 3-hour minimum on all babysitting services.
can the sitter take my kids swimming?
Written permission is required if you would like your sitter to swim with your children.
how do i pay my babysitter?
Babysitters must be paid directly in cash, check or Venmo. Only the agency fee will be charged to your credit card on file.
is gratuity required?
Gratuity is always appreciated but never required! If your sitter has provided your family with excellent service, then gratuity is a lovely way to thank them.
can i request the Same sitter?
Absolutely! If you had a positive experience with a particular sitter, please let us know. We strive to provide as much consistency as possible.
can i request my sitter to take a RAPID covid TEST?
As we continue to navigate these challenging times, we are doing our best to keep everyone safe and accommodate each family’s request so you can feel most comfortable! If you would like to request your sitter to take a rapid test, we ask that you provide the test for the sitter upon arrival.
what should i do if i need to change the time of my booking?
All time changes must be done directly through Summer Sitters by calling 508-237-8965 or emailing info@summersitters.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request!
cAN I CONTACT MY BABYSITTER DIRECTLY?
No. All bookings need to be placed through Summer Sitters. There is a violation fee for attempting to contact a sitter outside the scheduled services.
